FULL DESCRIPTION

The women's hand-painted silk stole, "Filtro del Rispetto", by Fosca's Batik was created by the artist during the lockdown period in Italy, in 2020, at the peak of the pandemic that marked the lives of millions of individuals around the world.

The painting was created by Fosca Tittarelli for the project City Post and was exhibited in the city of Jesi (Ancona, Italy) alongside works by other artists, with the aim of portraying that “new everyday life.”

This stola tells of a sudden, abrupt shock that profoundly changed man's habits, forcing him to wear his face covered, in dutiful respect for the other.

The eyes, the only ones exposed, convey a smile confident about the future.
