GARMENT WASHING
you can wash it gently by hand, in warm or cold water, adding a neutral or delicate soap;

DRYING
hang up the product to dry while it is still dripping, stretch it well, do not wring it and avoid exposure to direct sunlight. Keep it away from sources of excessive heat.

IRONING
to protect your garment, iron at a low temperature, on the wrong side, placing a cotton cloth on the heavily painted parts of the fabric, where the painting is "thicker", evident or in relief.

FULL DESCRIPTION

The women's hand-painted silk georgette scarf "Rete" is a rectangular-shaped silk scarf made using the batik technique.

The contrasting emotions experienced by artist and designer Fosca Tittarelli following one of her many travels find expression in this unique piece. The motif that dominates this women's scarf originates in 2012, the year of her return from London to the rolling hills of the Marche region.

The edges of the countryside, made up of cultivated land and rural buildings, are often delineated by the classic "net" fences from which the main pattern draws inspiration.

The work is pervaded by ambivalent feelings: the sense of safety and security is mixed with darker emotions and a vague feeling of constriction. The net encloses everything in a place where time seems to stand still and between its meshes it is possible to peer into infinity, dreaming of traveling again to faraway places. At the same time, the play of cheerful, summery colors represents the joy of rediscovering one's places and affections with a keen eye on the existential and creative stimuli that come with it.
