FULL DESCRIPTION

The "Thar Desert" hand-painted silk stole is a unique work whose decoration echoes the movement of the multicolored striations of the mountains of Arizona's Painted Desert.

In addition to the curious designs of the desert rocks, another source of inspiration for the artist are the fine tapestries made in the 1970s by the people of the Thar Desert (the Great Indian Desert) in India.
