FULL DESCRIPTION

The women’s printed silk stole “Filtro del Rispetto” is a limited and numbered edition reproduction of the original artwork by Fosca’s Batik, created by the artist during the lockdown in Italy in 2020, at the height of the global pandemic that impacted the lives of millions around the world.

The painting was created by Fosca Tittarelli for the project City Post and was exhibited in the city of Jesi (Ancona, Italy) alongside works by other artists, with the aim of portraying that “new everyday life.”

This stole speaks of a sudden, unexpected shock that profoundly changed human habits, forcing people to cover their faces — out of a necessary respect for others.

The eyes, the only ones exposed, convey a smile confident about the future.
